The Moto G Turbo Edition is expected to give the Moto G 3rd edition a much needed boost in terms of extra features. The Turbo Edition comes with IP67 resistance and can be comfortably submerged in water up to depths of 1 meter unlike the Moto G3 which boasts of Water resistant feature which only protects it from occasional spills and acts like a protective feature. It also includes a TurboPower charger, which gives you 6 hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging.
The Moto G Turbo Edition debuts with a 720p HD display and draws its power from an octa core Snapdragon 615 processor mated with a 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, the Moto G Turbo will offer 16GB of internal storage along with the microSD card slot. However, the camera sensors remain unchanged and the Turbo heralds with the 13-Megapixel primary camera and the 5-Megapixel secondary camera combo.
Moto G Turbo will retain the connectivity features from the Moto G3 including the Dual-SIM and the 4G LTE support. Motorola Moto G Turbo will be available in two variants – Black with DeepSea Blue back and White with Slate back priced at Rs 14,499 and will have some launch offers valid through December 13 exclusively on Flipkart.
Motorola has been trying hard to regain the lost grounds it lost to the slew of Chinese phones including some from its half-brother, the Lenovo. That being said, the Moto G Turbo is still a timely update and will appease the buyers who are looking for some extra features from the Moto G3. The cosmetic aspect of the phone remains the same and this is causing a sort of visual fatigue.
